| DUTIES |
: |
This position is located in the Reproductive Health (RH) Division of PHN Office. The incumbent will work towards USAID India’s efforts to achieve improved health and reduced fertility in targeted areas of India.
The incumbent will perform full range of consultative, advisory, program management and monitoring, data collection and evaluative functions to manage the third phase of Innovations in Family Planning Services (IFPS III) Project. The IFPS III project is currently budgeted at approximately $ 10 million each year and is the extension to IFPS II project, which focused on developing, demonstrating and documenting appropriate models of public-private partnership for improved reproductive and child health services.
The incumbent functions with a high degree of independence and latitude with respect to policies, programs and issues affecting the project and will ensure that components managed by the position are implemented in a manner to achieve the IFPS III goals.
The incumbent will maintain liaison with senior USAID staff, key counterpart agencies in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand, senior government officials of state and central government, multilateral and bilateral development partners, private sector providers and associations, implementing partners and other organizations in the field of Reproductive Health.

The incumbent should have a thorough knowledge of Government of India health and population policies and programs. |

The incumbent should have the skills and ability to:
- organize, analyze, interpret and utilize studies and program performance data;
- plan, implement and monitor project activities by applying management principles;
- prepare written reports and statistical tables and presentations, and use standard computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point;
- negotiate sensitive and complex issues through initiative, imagination, resourcefulness and diplomacy;
- analytic, planning, evaluation, communication and presentation skills
